Ro/Di water system recommendations

Which system would you recommend for RO/DI? I will also be drinking the water so I need a good reliable system. I almost got one at costco, but didnt recognize the brand. I think it was Watts.

How much water does your system produce at a given time? Can you get 5 gallons at once?

I'm pretty happy with my Captive Purity system. (Marine Depot - Captive Purity (RO/DI) 4-stage Deluxe with Clear Canisters 75 GPD)
I know there are much better ones out there, but for a $200 4-stage it has been great. Took about 10 minutes to assemble.

I use commercial trashcans for water reservoirs, and I save the wastewater for my 240g freshwater cichlid tank. I get about 800 gallons RODI water before my deionizer cartridge runs out, and my source water is terrible.

If you want to add a drinking water reservoir it will be $175ish for a 4-gal and $300ish for a 10gal.

I also have the Watts unit very good setup.
The 2-time filter change kit price is not to bad at about $40.00 last you a year.
Change every 6 months or so.

The res. tank only holds about 2 1/2 gallons max.
So I bought another unit to setup with a 20 gallon holding tank in the shower.

Kent float switch and a Rubber-Maid "Brute" trash can.
Must say Food-Grade on the botton of the can.
HD had the 20.
Lowe's had the 30, to big for the shower and the RO unit together.

you shower with your ro unit??

wow.... to think, i was starting to think my obsession was bad?!?!

i got NOTHING on you!!

It's a down-stair shower we have never used since we have been in the house. Plus house guest can use the up-stairs shower. I needed a place for my water making setup.
I had to cover the doors with a frosted coving so people that use the bathroom wouldn't see the RO and trash can in it. Like I really cared what other people that are invited to the house would say, but she did. O'Well what are you going to do.
