Ro/di

Yes.

The presence of chloramines is the most common situation where we recommend something more than a 4 stage system. In this case, go with a system with two carbon stages. The extra carbon stage is not always needed to address chloramines, but it is a good practice.

You'll find that you'll go through DI resin faster than you would if your water didn't contain chloramines, so some people also add a second DI stage to their systems or go with a larger DI housing/cartridge so you don't have to change it so often.

You are over analyzing this. Call one of the people and tell them what you want. I would prefer to use BFS because Russ is always here and willing to help. If you think you need the MaxCap, call Spectrapure. They're really not that different in construction or design. Anyone can help you get what "you" want. You just have to talk to them.

I went with a Purely H2o dual carbon ro/di unit.I added a catalytic carbon in place of the first carbon block to remove chloramines in my water. They are local to me,so i just went in and picked it up.They are great people to deal with, and also a sponsor here.PurelyH2O.com
,Check them out.
