just fyi if you call them they do an RC discount too , also their sales staff is great but their customer service/tech department is a bit lagging, if you have a problem don't expect a call back from them for a good week. Other than that I like my Optima vision series, I would also suggest the flush kit, and look into a dual TDS inline meter, check it out on ebay they are like 20 bucks and will let you know if the rodi is working and when to change filters out.

I bought my unit from purely H20, had a cpl issues to begin with, nothing major, their support was just fine. I forget the ladies name, but she called me twice after purchase to check on it.

i was curious on inline tds meters. i thought i read somewhere it was really hard to calibrate them.

Randy Holmes Farley said you should not calibrate TDS meters.

If you look on ebay you can get those inline meters for $25 or $30 to your door. I agree with Marcye, they are eaiser to have on there.

And if your not familiar with installing them it takes a sharp blade or scissors and about 3 seconds of your time. No tools.

I bought that one from them about 1 1/2 yrs ago and love it.
