My RO unit was frozen during 2 days (itÃ"šÃ‚´s in my garden).
It have to get damaged the membrane or other components?
Thanks

Hi Yano,

Thank you for your inquiry. If the unit got frozen and none of the fittings got cracked and it does not leak, more than likely the housing and fittings are ok and do not need to be replaced. As for the membranes, I honestly do not know what effect freezing will have on them. I would think it could damage the RO membrane itself. I would suggest contacting an RO manufacturer directly, such as Kent Marine (www.kentmarine.com) to see what they say regarding this.

I apologize I was not able to give you a more definte answer regarding this.

If there is anything else we can do for you do not hestitate to ask.
