RO pre-filter order

When I was changing my pre-filters today I got the GAC and the 1 micron filter mixed up.

Right now I have it like this: 5 micron-1 micron-GAC.

And I am not sure if if it is supposed to be like this: 5 micron-GAC-1 Micron.

I think that latter is how I had it, but which is best?

I think that you have it right. That way you are using the pre-filters to remove suspended material before getting to the carbon. That way you are extending the life of the carbon filter and allowing it to do its job better.
