RO question

I was talking with my Dad (who used to have a saltwater tank agrs ago) and he mentioned that if we put our new tank in the baement that we should also hook up a dehumidifier... and that he head that the water from the dehumidifier can some how be similar to RO water... Has anyone ever heard this???

Yes...don't do it. They usually use copper tubing for the condensation. Copper = bad.

Honestly it might be fine, but usually people go out of their way to avoid copper in their tank.

Definately don't use...MJ is correct...rodi unit is worth it weight in gold

Thank you we will not use the dehumidifier water.... I didn't even think of the copper.... Thank you again this site is the best!
