What makes an HI-S membrane better on silicates? Also do you see any problems with diverting some of the waste water from an RO/DI back into the feed water? Besides a higher TDS value going into the unit. My TDS is about 80 mg/L but I have a LOT of phosphate in my well water, which I believe is coming from the salt used to regenerate the softener resin. Thanks.
