RO Storage

What is the best way to store your RO.. I have a 40g container, should it be heated? circulated?. I shut my RO unit off manually when the containter is full, and only turn it own when its nearly empty.

This container is joined to my mixing container (extermal pump etc) but I use the pump to circulate the new salt water mix, it is heated to tank temp.

Just curious

Thanks

To me it's just water so you don't have to do anything special with it other than store it in a clean container that is sealed pretty well so dirt and dust don't get in it. I don't even hear mine. I only hear my mixed saltwater so I don't cause temp spikes in my tank when I do a water change. The RO water just fills my ATO and there is no point heating for that purpose.

I just have a 35 gallon brute trash can in my basement with the rodi unit ran to it. I don't have a heater or powerhead in it. I have had no issues doing it this way for over 6 months.

+1

For ro water nothing is needed but a tight fitting lid is a good idea as ro water will attract alot of stuff from the air
