Hahaha, you're roommate is going to be telling this story for years..... "this one time, he bought all this Aquafina to fill the tank with, like regular water isn't good enough....."
Remember that all RO water is not the same. I do not know what the TDS of Aquafina is. So test it before you use it. But it does say on the bottle that it is RO filtered. Stay away from Dasani, it has minerals added to the water after RO filtering.
Your up in College Stations so you might have to take a ride closer to Houston to find a Target with a grocery store. I buy my RO/DI water from them and it works great but it only comes in 1 gallon containers. It is usually located above the purified water over by the soda. You could also try Walmart as they sell RO/DI water as well but I have heard that their water sometimes has a high TDS. Hope that helps.
Don't know if im too late, but Wal-Mart has gallon jugs of Distiller water for .62 cents. Better then Aquafina, and much cheaper. 0 TDS, I've been using it for top off.
Alright dudes.... spent $18 on 29g of RO water at HEB... it was priceless... 2 carts full of 1 gallon jugs....they thought i was crazy. THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR INPUT!!!
