RO test

So I've decided after selling all my aquarium stuff and moving 2k miles out to AZ i want to set up a few reefs again. We have a home RO system I just tested and I'm getting a 6.0 ph reading I tested our city in softened and I'm getting a 7.2 ph reading. Is this normal? Ways to naturally raise ph ?

Thanks guys

Tell us a bit more about the RO system. What are your TDS readings before/after the membrane?

I wouldn't focus at all on pH; if it's 0 TDS RODI the pH won't matter - it's going to take on whatever pH you add it to.

In case Hunter's question wasn't direct, he's stating your Home RO system is very unlikely adequate enough for a reef aquarium. My home ro still pumps out 50-150 ppms depending on how used up it is. Can't even imagine how much nastiness is in those remaining ppms. My RO for my reefs pumps out 17 ppm, then 0 after the DI.
Not trying to be rude, just trying to save you a big headache down the road.

Welcome to AZ!

No rudeness taken.I appreciate straight forward people. It makes sense. I actually haven't done a tds test, ordered a meter a few days ago along with some other **** I needed. Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the Welcome also! I've been here a couple years off and on though.
