Road trip interest?

I always wanted to see the stores in rochester\syracuse....somebody want to pick me up and take me? :)

:) If that person was willing to get you to Rochester I'd be more than happy to add ya to the list of "Syracuse bound". I imagine that'd be quite the day though, to get to ABC Reefs and then visit the Rochester stores as well. Wallet overload... lol

I live 40 minutes east of Syracuse, we were suppose to get a foot of snow, ended up with 2 inches. I can up date everyone on how bad this next storm ends up being.

Yep... gotta love forecasts. Definately feel free to update. I'm thinking that even if NY gets a foot of snow tomorrow through Friday, our state as a whole should be quite capable of cleaning it up by Sunday. Delusional? Perhaps... ;)

I will admit that at times the city of buffalo has it trouble with plowing but the highway is not in the city of buffalo and neither is ARC which is next to the airport in cheektowaga. when there is a bad storm whenever possible I take genesee st. the airport area is always taken care of quickly. I also saw that erie county plows and city plows just got some new equipment. GPS that show on a map where the plows are at all times and what streets they have already plowed. Suppose to help with efficiency. Should make for some ****ed off lazy county workers and clearer streets with less tax payer $$$

wallet overlaod is right...lol Depends if I get my 120 build completed by then. The nice people that purchased my 150 wouldlike to pick it up Sunday. So hopefully I can get it done by then....lol

At this point this may or may not still happen. As the Jeep transmission still needs to be properly fixed and I don't want it to go completely somewhere between here and Syracuse I was planning to use the Mazda. Apparently that is no longer an option.

LOL. That's why you gotta put it in AWD and jump in the fast lane. Then you get where you got to go without an issue!
Ah, but you're assuming that the problem is ME! The problem is NEVER me, it's always the scaredy-cat morons that don't know how to drive in the snow and are hogging up all the pavement.

Now, if I had 4WD, then I wouldn't be as worried about the pavement part. :spin2:

what are you guys looking for at ABC as i may be able to tell ya if its in their tanks now .i think Tim is going on vacation , but i dont know how many orders will be coming in there this week .

Nothing in particular really... I'm switching my tank over from acro dominant to mainly LPS and softies with only a couple select acro pieces. Since I've never been there, I felt now is as good of a time as any and I can always find a coral or two or three that I'm willing to buy anywhere I go. :)

So Tim won't be there Sunday? It'll still be open though?

This is too funny...

they have a bunch of lps for sure and some pretty cool sps corals but they have about 60% of their norm . it would certainly still be worth it to check out .check out the lookdown tank and whats lighting it ,its a plasma light ! real cool as the bulb is the size of a led and it puts out 1300 watts of light .

Dave, Know if there's any super colorful Welsophyllia? Still looking for one of those for my sand bed.

Kat, I'll be getting a rental for transportation anyways most likely so might as well put the mileage on that. :D I should know time frame on everything tomorrow and will get ahold of you to see if it'd mesh with your schedule or not.
