Rock Anemones

Are rock/flower anemones dependant on light? Do they need that great light to grow?

I have one in my 12 gallon jbj deluxe with stock lighting 24x2.It has grown from 2'' to about 8''.They are very hardy . What size tank and what kind of lighting are you useing.

I'm using a t5 Tek light. I'm just wondering if I could throw it in my sump or in another tank with normal florescent lighting.

You could try it,if it extends toward the light it may need more light. Good luck
