Rock Beauty Angelfish

I had one that just never ate..but Im getting that itch again to buy another. My LFS has one for $85 a 4 in

A lot of those corals will be on the menu but it sounds like you already know that. Thats a lot of tank and a lot of angels would love to see a pic when they are all in there, that would be a spectacular mix. Not sure I would add a rock beauty to that mix with all of those big Pomacanthus, I had a blueface that got very aggressive and emps can get territorial as well but I didn't have nearly as much tank as you do. You do have a big tank but we are talking 5 Pomacanthus here if I have counted correctly, I would skip adding another big angel if this were my project.

I have kept individuals for many years in the past, I have collected them by hand nets and they seem to do well if they start eating. My experiences is that success has to do more with how they were collected and handled before ever reaching a wholesaler or retail store then anything else. ....

Still, as awareness of the problems become known more and more are being collected and cared for better and the success rates will grow to the point where it will be a good choice for aquariums with some experienced aquarists.

very helpful info. thanks.
