Rock flower anemone

I've had him about a month or so. All has been fine until I turned off my lights for a day (I was planning to keep them off for 3 days) to get rid of a small amount of cyno. That next morning when I got up the rock anemone had moved to the top of a rock. So I took that rock out and scrubbed it a toothbrush (tank only toothbrush, this was the rock with the cyno) and put it back and put the anemone back where it was originally. Since then I have turned the lights back on just made it a shorter time frame, NOW after 2 days it is not even sticking to the rock anymore. I found it this morning upside down in the sand. I put it back on the rock and in his original hole, but he is just closed up. I dont' want this thing to die in my tank and kill everything, but I don't wanna just toss him until I know he is on his way out. :hmm5: I did do my regular water change yesterday (with a little extra of cleaning all pumps and equipment).

Any ideas?

Rock anemones are very hardy. I can't imagine one dying unless the water quality is very bad. Having the lights off a day or, for that matter several days, is not the issue.
