I picked up one from KP Aquatics. It's one of my favorites animals in the tank. It's hardly moved an inch since I placed them in the tank last Spring. I feed it a few small pieces of shrimp a week and it's happy. Compared to most other anemone's, they are fairly low maintenance.
I plan on having a whole garden of them in my new tank.
I currently have 4 of them. 3 I have had for a month and haven't moved at from their spot in the sand. The other one I have had for about 6 months and it hasn't moved from it small rock on the sand. I am very happy with them in my mixed reef and hoping to get them to breed.
They use those for bait down here. They rip them off the rock and fish with them. Really the only cool, colorful sea life we have in Louisiana that isn't miles off the cost in blue water on the rigs.
Twice when I had outbreaks...... Left the lights off but I never fully covered the tank........
He would move near whatever light was coming in from my lamp........
I have 5 in my tank and they never moved from the spot where I placed them. They don't really bother anything and I feed them a couple times a week. They are very fast to swallow whatever I give them.
