OUr 75 gallon is doing great. Id like to ad a Anemone. I thuoght about addind either a rock flower nem or a mini carpet.

Our tank is only a month old. But was upgraded from a 29 that was in good shape for about 5-6 months. And the extra rock came from a well established system.

So with this being ouir first anemone id like to not kill it or have it kill any corals.
So whats the better nem a rock flower or mini carpet? Id like it to stay put.

we have 354 watts of t-5 ho for the lighting. Would that be enuf ??

Oh also we have 2 little clownfish.

Neither of these anemones need bright light. My MiniCarpet, the larger 5 inches variety, move to under the rock and settle there. Just barely exposed to light under 250 W DE MH. They won't kill coral but are fish eater. I lost my Black Saddleback clown PAIR to a mini carpet. The male almost 2 inches got eaten and the female about 4 inches got stung and died. This is in a 24 g Aquapod. The clowns were hosed in a BTA and the two Carpet are about 5-6 inches each. I also lost a Mandarin to Mini carpet. IME, Mini carpet are even more potent fish eater than Haddoni carpet.
It is much safer for your fish if you get a BTA or a LTA.

Rock flower anemone is much more peaceful than mini carpet, in my experience. Also less expensive. They don't move, won't need too much light, and feed occasionally to keep them happy. I've never lost a fish to one, or anything else either.
