Looking for some rock. Live or dried. Need roughly 75lbs and prefer to be local or Elmer's pick-up.

I was making my own with aggrocrete, but taking longer than expected with the soakings, DOH'

if you can't find any locally, I would suggest buying some dry rock from Bulkreefsupply HERE

I recently bought some to add to my tank - very nice stuff. Only $2.79 a lb and shipping is fairly inexpensive (since it can go UPS ground) and quick (I think mine was here in 2 or 3 days)

That's not bad. If nothing locally I'll definitely look into it. I saw some on Petco.com as well that seemed cheap. Locally is my first bet though. That way I know where it came from : ) and what may be on it.

Did you try the Sea Horse?

I picked thru there stuf 2 or 3 weeks ago looking for some smaller stuff for frags, what they had looked really nice to me.

Nice different shapes, porous, and varying sizes, they get it every week I think, Nate (clockerpoked) would know or could find out thru his mom.

It's been sometime since I've been out there. I'm making some errand runs out that way this weekend I should stop by and check it out.

He's been selling it for quite a while now, as he always seems to show up. Think it's Velvet Hammer on here...although that could be a coincidence. Personally I don't believe in coincidences though :)

Don't be deceived by that photo of the live rock on Slippery Rocks dudes listing...he snatched that photo from CoralReefKeepers.com. That is definitely not a piece that he has for sale.

I 2nd bulk reef supply. I got my rock from there b/c I DID NOT WANT PESTS!!!! They have some really nice rock. I would like to get another 50 lbs someday.

Nice dry rock and no pests! BULK REEF is the way to go!

I bought some dry rock from ebay a few years ago when I setup my tank. It was well under $1 a pound shipped.

I will try to find the name of the place.
