Was a nice day diving and wanted to share a few pics of rock I harvested today diving.......and got stalked by a huge jewfish today, he was just too interested in me today for some reason, about a 300 pounder, as long as I am in length....with a BIG mouth......

The rock is at it's peak right now macro wise....as the gulf is real warm and everything is sprouting and growing...

such beautiful rock! my dad decided to take mine out of the tank for 20 mins so i had 90% die off. :fun2: but i am getting a bigger tank so that means more rock and now my dad understands that marine life needs water. :deadhorse:

Looks as great as ever... Like that macro. This goliaths are no joke, I would be a bit afraid of their sheer size.

Well usually they come look at me as soon as I spash and hit the bottom...and go away back to where they hang on my site...this guy yesterday was either hungry ...or horny......don't know but followed me the whole dive...

I had 5 on the site last summer at one time, and one was longer than me stretched out with fins on, had to be a record fish, and he let me swim right up beside him, never moved......the little 100 pounders will follow me around sometimes and grab the crabs as I turn rocks...but this guy yesterday was a good 300 pounds......just weird!

Wow Richard, beautiful rock, I need to get some free time so I can finish my stand so I can get everything setup and I can order.

Richard, I would love to have the tank set up in my house that that 300 lbs jewfish would have fit in to if you had caught it lol, you could have thrown it in with a couple hundred pounds of live rock.
