Rock work opinions for SPS

Here is my current setup: the tank is 24" tall, and I have a 6' Vertex Illumina 260 with Whites on about 70%, Royal Blue 100%, Blue 100%.

My original idea was to have minimal rock scape with the 5 peaks /high spots that I have now --- and hopefully over time a limited number of pieces would grow into huge colonies touching the surface.

Now that reality is catching up with the idea, I'm thinking that my rockscape might be too low for SPS. I'm considering adding some additional rock to build it up. What do you all think? For some reason I thought my lighting would cook everything, but it appears if I have frags in the lower 1/3 of the tank or midway they just don't do as well as near the top.

Sweet tank. Love that looooong viewing area. I would think that the light could penetrate 24" and grow SPS without a problem. My Kessil could handle SPS at 17" at 60% power or so IME.

My opinion only, but the lack of a background detracts from the aqua scape and the eye is drawn to the wall behind. A black background would bring the aqua scape out and they eye would focus on it and not the wall. The aqua scape is fine and yes it is good to leave that space for future growth. I cannot comment on the light other than it should be powerful enough, of it isn't you may need to explore other options. By the way, I love the dimensions on the tank, highly jealous here.

I also run a illumina (360 model) however I run it 2.5 inchs off the water, I would lower urs I also run 100 blue 72 white - are all the coral down the center and not to far off to the back or front. Keep in mind it doesn't have lenses so it doesn't focus light as much. I would listen to jack and cover the back of the tank

I also light the height of the rock on the left -
