RODI experts, please help me build a killer RODI system.

Ok I know everyone says "just buy one from such and such" but I have a big pile of water filter components including two complete drinking water RO systems. I'd like to assemble a good RODI system from all the items shown in the pics

The eagle filter with the quarter turn cartridges brand new and came with a still sealed 50gpd dow filmtec membrane. I don't like the quarter turn cartridges so they will get tossed. I'm just going to remove the membrane housing and any fittings and hoses I can pull off.

The triple chamber ro system I was planning to setup as the prefilter with a sediment and 2 carbon blocks.

Then I'd like to use the 2 RO membrane housings, not sure the best way to do that, ie setup in parallel with splitters for the hoses or have one dump it's brine into the next one.

Finally the double cartridge setup with the transparent housings I was going to use for DI resin.

Any thoughts?

"have one dump it's brine into the next one." this is how BRS does it with the "150 GPD upgrade" Make sure you have sufficent water pressure or a booster pump though.

I really like the tds meters for before ro and after ro and after di to visualize everything's working properly.
Ro flush valve to extend life of ro.
T valve before DI to redirect flow until the ro drops tds, the direct it into di. This saves resin before each use.
Also a float valve kit to turn it off after I flooded my basement a few times.

I'm looking into a booster pump for this setup. Is it critical that both membranes are rated for the same gpd? Or do you just adjust the flow restriction until you get your 1:4 ratio?

They have to be the same and you use the same outlet restricter, your waste water should be closer to a 3:2 ratio with the second membrane.
