I have a 75gpd RODI, but it produces about 5 gallons really fast, then all of a sudden it slows down to a drip. i have a 5 stage, some USA brand with a 3 gallon container. any idea? does it need more pressure? if so, how do i get more pressure?

the rodi don't have a pressure gauge nor a tds meter.

thanks!

The 5 gallons could be mostly coming out of your 3 gallon pressure tank. Normally an RO will not make much more than a steady drip of water. 75 gallons per day, is only like 3 gallons an hour rated, means 1.5 to 2 gallons per hour for most real world pressure/temps.

If you want more, you will need to increase the pressure with a booster pump, but without a gauge it is hard to say, or just get a larger pressure tank so it can store more water for you.

Sounds like you are draining a pressurized storage tank, and then getting water at the rate that the system produces it.

Would need some additional information on the system to advise you further.

You never water RO water from a pressure tank to drain through the DI stage - hopefully you don't have that situation.
