may catch hell for this, I installed an adjustable thermal mixing valve for my rodi unit, it warms the water to 77 f, ro water production increased due to the warmer water and the system does nort sweat at all , been in my system for about 7 years, all stainless steel, yes the water water heater cycles, maybe once for the makeup tank, salt mix tank not sure never paid any attention to it. just idea. my hot water is natural gas, but never noticed any difference in my gas bill. Also is the unit has a problem is default to cold only, had it happen once, installed some new pipe and I suspect that some sediment was disturbed, flushed it out works fine.

I was also thinking of wrapping my feed tubing around my hot water line of my hot water tank. Have to wait for the booster pump.
