RODI / tempature

I know that running a rodi at warm [not hot] will increase output. [as was discussed at an indmas meting 2 1/2 years ago] but what does it do the the efficiency of the filtering? it is better to run it cold?

it was at an officer's meeting at a guys house who filter's water by trade.. I can't remember who it was though.

hooked, gobygoby, density, anyone know?

Membranes are rated to operate at 77 degrees. Because colder water is more dense, subtract 1.4% of output for every degree below 77. At 40 degrees, you get half the rated output.

You guys are awesome...

but what does that do to the efficency of the filtering/ toxins removed?

does the water come out cleaner at colder or hotter temps? or does it not matter?

I also remembered him mentioning the water softner before the rodi was a way to get the water even cleaner... too bad I don't have one here... :)
