Rodi unit and well water?

Does having a rodi unit running with well water, do ok? Does this just kill the filters faster? Maybe a dum question, but need to know. Im quessing it just all depends on the tds of the water.

I have run mine on well water for ~4 years without a problem. I have it hooked up after the water softener. The supply water is cold and the pressure is lower that the ideal conditions, but it works fine without an additional pump. R

I have been running my RO/Di off my well for 9 months now and still getting a TDS of 0. The only problem I ran into was the pressure from my well was to low to realy make the unit work, so I had to purchase a booster pump.
