RODI Water Storage Container

I am trying to find a RODI Water Storage container approximately 50 gallons. I've read many comments on the forum about Rubbermaid Brute trashcans. I also read the "How to Change Water in Your Reef Aquarium" article on Reefkeeping Mag (Nov 2007), and Marc recommended HDPE (High-density polyethylene) food-grade containers. I noticed that the Rubbermaid Brute trashcans at Lowes and HD are LDPE (low density).

Anyone recommend sources for the HDPE containers? Or are the Rubbermaid Brute trashcans good enough even though they are LDPE (will they leach contaminants)?

Most people here use the Brute trashcans (including many of the tank of the month winners). They are food grade plastic. Just make sure they say "Brute" on them.

I use a brine/salt tank from a soft water system. If you talk to your local plumber they usual have one laying around for free.

There are few popular websites where some reefers on here order storage containers. I can't remember them though. Can anyone chime in with these sites?

You can find used 55g plastic drums for cheap, if you look. Just make sure it was used for food products and wash it well.

I use two 30g plastic drums.
