rod's food in bay area

Rod's food is the real deal. I have been using it for about a year and a half and it is great. He uses garlic extract and selcon in the mix and also has DT's and oyster eggs which gives the SPS food as well. It basically feeds the whole tank and my corals perk up when the food goes in the water. I also think the food is why I can't get a good look at my corals as my fish follow me around wherever I look and obstruct my view. It is great stuff and I feed nothing but that food.

I highly doubt you'll be disappointed with it from all the talk I've heard over the last few years about Rod's food

I Would like to know the delivery timeline as well, from Rod's to the distribution point in SF. Since it comes overnight delivery I assumed (dangerous thing to do, I know) that it would be here before next weekend (since most overnight courriers don't deliver on Saturday, or do so at a higher cost). I had made tentative plans to make the trip down to SJ next weekend, to pick up our order frmo Phong, and to also visit a few other fellow reefers in the area.
So, Klam114, let us know when Rod indicated that the group order would be in your hands there in SF ? The rest would be up to the schedules of all of the reefers transporting the food to and fro

When I setup the GB with Ed (Vendor), he said that he will have the frozen paks in hand by this Wednesday afternoon, April 4th. I will be picking up all Snabss and my friend's order Wednesday evening. Everyone who is not picking up from Snabss or myself, please feel free to arrange a time with Ed to pickup directly. He should have included his address within the confirmation email for your payment. If anyone wants to pickup from me, please drop me an email and also let Ed know by responding to the confirmation email that he sent you when you made your PayPal payment. Thanks to everyone for participating, this went really smooth and quick. I should have an update from Ed sometime this afternoon. I work 5 mins away from Ed's place, so I will pickup from him on Wednesday evening after work. For those picking up from Ed directly, he is near both 6th Ave LFS and Lucky Ocean LFS. You just need to contact him and let him know when you want to pickup. He's pretty flexible, but you need to make an appointment.
schedule sounds great. I think we will pick up from Snabbs then, since Phong is leaving Saturday for LV. If that is OK with Snabbs ? We already planned to be down in that area this coming weekend, so a couple of extra miles down to Campbell won't kill us
Klam114... you said that 35 was the total possible for the GB, but the list in the post above states 32 ordered, 4 still available. Not that it really impacts us, but I just didn't want someone to pay for/expect the extra packs and have them not be available.

vendor is ordering 4 extra so total is 32. also the list is out so if there is a mistake please let me know asap. please check list should have quanity, paid or not and who is picking up if not there LMK. also rod ship with 2 dry ice if we order 32 we can ask to put one more dry ice in there so that people that are worried about it being thaw out during transit won't have to worry.
also closing order soon.

hey i just spoke to vendor. total that will be ordered is 32. (reason is we asked to put another dry ice in there so no issues with it being thawed out). 31 is spoken for. payment still need to be sent on a couple. so please send payment asap. payment not received by date of arrival will be sold. sorry i don't want the vendor to hold any because he is not a bank. he is doing me a favor also and i don't want to hold any cuz it will tie up my $. please understand. please also check to see if you got the amount that you asked for. make sure you got pick up info or people picking up for you got your info.
