Mcurl98, I checked out LA and could only find what they called a Blue Star Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon bipartitus). No indication of gender and they didn't include the "ornate" tag either (and it was not in their divers den area). I guess I will keep looking, but it now makes me wonder if what you bought was a bipartus, but something similar to a terminal male fairy wrasse, hence the brighter, slightly different coloration and their higher price (the bipartus above was only $40).
I guess I will just keep watching their divers den area unless I find one that we like locally before hand

Sparkss-are you subscribed to LA's email notification for Divers Den updates? The Ornate males seem to come up about once a month. They last for about an hour or so before they are bought. If you can check it daily when updated, you'll be able to get one within a few weeks I would imagine. Even though I'm done buying fish, I check it daily (otherwise I have to just sit at my desk and do my regular job!). When I see one, I'll email you right away. Hopefully, you'll have better luck than I with the shipping. I looked for several months at the LFSs and couldn't find one. I went back and looked at my invoice. It's not shipping that is hard on these guys. IT's the fact they're held too long (with out eating) before you get them. Most from Indo/Bali/surrounding islands are gang bagged and stored on the beach (not in aquaria). This extended stay really hurts them. Not only is there damage from chemicals (ammonia, etc), they don't get to eat, they're packed to closely together (creating stress and fear) and they're in clear plastic bags (more stress and fear). It's a recipe for death!

i will be back by 10:00 p.m. so if that suits you then drop me a PM and i will send you the adress. for the packets that are not picked up tonite, i will try my best to freeze them (will have to beg the gf for some space in the freezer

Here's the lastest update. Looks like all paks will be picked up tonight from vendor with the exception of 2 members that is picking up directly. Ed is pretty flexible on pickup, just drop him a email or give him a call before you stopby. This was my first group buy and it went really smooth and fast, thank you everyone!!! :thumbsup: I've been really wanting a chance to check this frozen food out and nice to get it with free s/h/i and 10% off. If anyone wants join me in giving our vendor a good word for his help in bringing these in for us, please feel free to add to the thread that I started under the vendor experience forum.
