Rod's Onyx clownfish 2 year update

Today:

Female

Male

They host in a torch
Female is about 2 1/4", the male is only about 1" still! I think i got the runt of the litter

As seen: Male has a black dorsal but no black between 2nd and 3rd stripe, Female no black dorsal or black between 2 and 3

After two years not very hopeful they will develop more black

+1 I like the little spot on the male's tail, and the "saddle" just in front of his mate's dorsal fin.

I don't get it!
Rod has said there is a 95% chance his babies will fully onyx, so i must have gotten very unlucky for both to not make it!
Still great fish, nonetheless

Just wish there was something i could do to make the rest of the black come out

I read somewhere that once they start spawning more black may come out?
can anyone confirm this

I would think @ 2 yrs mine may be close to the age when this may happen?

I like them better with the orange/black/white coloring of yours, especially the female, wow! They are gorgeous!
