What store? I see you are in Georgia.

Some LFS might let you intercept the fish in bags before they go in a tank with wild caught.

I know Tim at Keen has offered to do this before at least once on snowflakes and picassos.
thats were i work he will be getting them in but when rod get ready to sell them

yes krak they are I have not had the chance to go but allot of people who post here go often, I call them lucky.

So Keen Reef will have these in a separate tank? Excellent!

Rod really doesn't have a "store" anymore. That's how his buisness started out, but now that his food has taken as well as it has, he doesn't have time to run a store anymore... sorry for the news

in fact, i live in dekalb, and have visited / spoken with rod numerous times in the past, and I don't know if I can even get my Onyx (when I'm ready) directly from him anymore. he's just too busy running the whole show pretty much by himself.

I talked to my lfs about getting some clowns the next time he makes an order for food he was excited at the prospect of being able to sell them and we had a talk about isolating them :)

A quick update on the clowns.
After comparing with the picture I first took when I got them. I think the black has faded due to the RBTA:(
When I first got them a month ago.

Has Rod ever thought about hiring someone to help him out? For how popular his food and clowns are he should have at least some staff.

clowns update:
They are getting bigger are getting along quite nicely. Some of them are developing their third stripe. The black are coming back though it's still not as dark as when I got the. The RBTAs are causing this color fading. I'm tempting to scoop out a pair and put it in the fuge to see if the black comes back to prove my hypothesis. My concern is that, they might not get along when I reintroduce the clowns back to the tank.

Nick i moved my BTA out of the tank yesterday, ill let you know if it helps, mine are fading around the dorsal fin so i decided to go without the BTA

Thanks Nick,
I have 10 RBTAs in the tank right now. :D Not really sure of what to do. But man, I looked at the pictures I took when I first got them and they were JET BLACK!
I know if I take all of the RBTAs out of the tank, the clowns will most likely host in the frogspawn since they are really liking it.

Did you notice a color shift/fade when they're in the frogspawn? I might just ditched the RBTA all together. I want the jet black back.

when i got mine initially and had them in the frogspawn they had more black.

should be a couple weeks to a few months before they darken again, im on the hunt for an anemone.

Well, I just put two of my darkest into the fuge. We'll see how it goes. If it's darken within a couple days(And I think it will), All 10 RBTAs will be for sale.
I hate to do it but I want the colors of what I paid for back.

I have moved all the clowns into the fuge with no anemone. I didn't want to break the group up. We'll see how quickly the black recover.

this is me...what camera & settings are you using for your pictures? I can never get a nice still shot of my picasso clowns the way you captured your onyx...
