i have 2 6000 streams in a 125,im getting into sps more, what percent should i run them on?also i have a multi controller how long apart do you recomend delay? and should i turn pumps in different directions occasionally?right now i have one on 80 % and other 60%,and a 3 second delay from 20% to 60 and 80?

Hello Enzod, Why not set your controller on interval II with the power at 30%-100% 30 sec interval at 1.5 sec pulse. You can point them across the tank at each rear corner and it will create a random flow for your SPS

ok,sounds great,i have them on the two sides facing each other, but one is slightly facing front glass, the other is slightly facing back glass, that way it doesnt seem to kick up too much sand, sound good?

ok so i got it on int. 2, pulsing 1.5, 30% to 100%,every 30 seconds,so its like the one pump stays on 30 % while the other one goes from 100% to 30% every 1.5 second for 30 seconds, then switches and the other one now does it,is this correct,so on the display the left side lights stay on 30 and the other side pulse up and down ,then in 30 secs it switches,im liking this?sound ok?

how does that sound roger?also can i have one pump pointing slightly towards back, and one pointing towards slightly to front, both coming from side panels??

I would go with longer pulses and intervals but it is largely personal preference. I find that in 1.5 seconds the pumps don't fully accelerate or decelerate. You can see this most clearly with a watt meter as full and minimum wattage are never achieved. 3 seconds is what I recommend for this reason. I would use a 6 hr interval as that is what most closely simulates the tides and more recent studies show that most corals feed better with a more directional current that is not completely chaotic, it should be rhythmic but not just chaos.

ok roger i have interval 2,pulsing every 3 seconds, and intervals of an hour, this ok,i also have night mode where pumps slow way down when lights are off,i run lights for 10 hours a day, this ok??

If it works for you it is fine, this is trial and error and personal preference. My recommendation is based on the tides occuring at roughly 6 hr intervals but you can do what suits you best. At the end of the day it is largely a toy and the features are more for your amusement than any real purpose.
