I installed one of these skimmers on Wednesday, I'm very happy so far its already skimming like a champ. But one question is it normal for it to produce a lot of micro bubbles in the tank??

That should stop in a few weeks. It is a result of the stronger 60Hz pump. The US pump actually does about 20gph more than the euro version and has more pressure, as it gets dirty this solves itself.
