Rogue crab

Hi folks,
I know that this is a tall order without pictures, but I was hoping that someone could help me id a crab I found in my reef tank. Snapping a pic might be a really tough task.
It is tiny. Maybe 1/4-1/2" wide. It is "furry" with what looks like green hair. Its claw tips are black. I want to know what this is and how much effort I should go through to remove it. I have lots of live rock so it may be really tough to get it out.
Today I saw it in one of the caves that my peppermint shrimp use to hang out. The shrimp are a multitude of times larger but they don't appear to be bothering each other. I have no issues with corals looking nipped.
I have:
Mushroom
Heliopora
All sorts of Polyps
Zooanthids
Xenia

Thanks.

More than likely a species of xanthid crab. I'd remove it just to be on the safe side. Toss it in the sump.

When was the last time you added some live rock or a coral on a rock base? If it's been in your tank for a while and it hasn't bothered anything why take it out? A lot of the small xanthid species are primarily herbivorous and secondarily predators on smaller inverts like worms & other crustaceans, not coral eaters.
