roscoe vs borealis

Whats the difference between the roscoe and borealis? I bought both and they look very similar to me although both have not become a colony? The pics I have found online also look similar.

I just took a few quick looks at different pics of both colonies. I have a borealis colony and it seems to have different corallite spacing than the roscoe's. Roscoe's seems to have tighter spacing. I guess this is what I hate most about "special" named corals... a really high price, and no scientific name. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact they are aquacultured and have much higher survivability, I just wish I had scientific names for the colonies [/rant]

I agree with WLS. Roscoe's corallite spacing is much tighter. My Borealis is also alot more green but I guess that can vary between tanks. Personally, I like my Borealis better. Both are awesome corals though, IMO.

It looks like borealis is alot more compact with more PE and darker judging by ora's pics.

when i originally got them, the borealis had more blue, with the polyps closer together. Now growing out, they looks ALOT alike.
