Hey all .... Have been pondering this for a while and hoping that I wouldn't actually do it ... But I have decided to after all ....

I have a pretty good size (RBTA) Rose Bubble Tip Anem and Clarkki Female for sale...

I really want to keep them together if possible.. So anyone interested in both get first dibs....

Best way to contact me is through PM or Phone call ... 3541300

The Anem is on a big chunk of Live rock , about 5-10 lbs.. The Anem is about 6-10 inches or so in diamater , and has been doing really well under P.C.'s for over a year and would probably do best under similar lights....

I am asking that it goes to a tank that can handle it and someone who will take as good a care for it as possible...

$90.00 ....

I also have a pretty good sized 3 stripe Damsel that is housed with the Anem& Clown .. she is free to a good home , again prefferably with the group ....

Eric,

I'm not sure if my tank or experience would qualify, but I'm interested and will take it if you think I can keep it alive and healthy

I have a 55 with 110watts of 50/50 PC and 300 watts of MH going in this week. Shoot me a PM and we can discuss...

Thanks,
Landen

if you put that anemone under MH lighting it will need to be near the bottom. its only ever seen PC lighting. i had it for about 2 years before eric got it.

BTAs are quite mobile. It will find a spot that it likes that has the best combination of light and water flow. When it finds a good spot, it will stay put.

If you put it in a tank with lots of coral, you may end up rearranging some of your corals to avoid conflict with the BTA after it finds its spot.

I agree with Mike here... The Anemone has flourished under PC's ... Any time I tried to put it under halides it did not do well .. Even when I aclimated it slowly to MH's , it just never took ...

This Anem is a really odd specimen ... It tolerates even the laziest of care givers  (ME) ...

Hey guys forgot to post back that I will have to step out from the deal...

Eric and I discussed and decided the MH lighting wasn't going to work for this exact anemone. So he still has an awesome deal available.
