Hi guys,
I wanna get a Rose bubble tip anemone and I m wondering,
How can I tell if the anemone is healthy or not?
I have a sea bea anemone in my tank that is hosting a maroon clown already,
would be ok to get the Rose anemone? my tank is 55g.
Please some advise.
Thanks.

I wouldn't recommend putting a RBTA in your 55 when you already have a Sebae. RBTAs are known for wandering around a lot. It won't be long until it finds the Sebae and then it's ON!! A 55 just isn't large enough for 2 anemones. Especially considering an RBTA can get to 18" in diameter or more. In a 12" deep tank, that can cause some serious issues.

Best to have one anemone species per tank. They are known to engage in allelopathy. Sebaes often do poorly when another anemone species is present as well

+1 I have 2 RBTA and one is constantly moving to include into the powerheads and he has yet to stay still. In a tank your size one should be more than enough especially when the times come for it to split, if it does??

quick fix here... remove the sebae and get the RBTA.
Now that's all opinionated because I enjoy the look of RBTA's. But to add to your original question and what hasn't been said yet is you want to have good bubbles at the tips and not too short of tentacles, color was already mentions and… oh if the one your looking at isn't attached to rock or glass (in other wards on the sand) that might be an indication not to get him.
