Fred,

When you are ready to sell, I might be interested. I have been interested in getting one of Shawn's anemone offspring for quite a while now.

You guys are killing me!
Minh, Shawn: You do not see any green in that anenome I just posted?? Thats the anem TK got from you Shawn.

Elite: Do you really want an answer or are you just being snide again?

I really want an answer. To be honest, I haven't seen one with the green tint but then again I'm just a newbie :D ..

Hi :)

True rose anemone? A rose is a rose is a rose ;) From the lips several collectors, "we find them both in the same patch usually."

FWIW, the flood being referenced was both, with the majority being the ones with a bit of green. The exporters sell them both at the same price usually.

I've seen the green tinted loose the green as well.

That being said should the ones from china be avoided. I have seen retailers specify that their roses are the good ones not from china?

I disagree, I have seen plenty of good Asain ones being offerred, kept and propigated. It's a batch to batch deal, as with most MO.

LFS only know what they are told. Meaning, they can only go on what they are told. You can not look at a rose and say "that's Chinesse".

Here's an offspring of the original RBTA. Definitely a green tint (at the time) but now, as Gresham has stated, is an orange/red colored anemone.

They have been under 250W XM 10K's, with no supplemental lighting, for the two years since I got the original and I have had 5 offsprings.

Thanks Shawn!

hey you know i got a rbta and it doesn't have any green. its kinda pink with white insides... so would that be considered a rose?

maxdout:bleached, but still a rose. Whether or not it has green remains on the zooxanthellae that will hopefully come back and repopulate in the 'nem.

Well I went to check out the rbta you dropped off Justin and it's found a place on a huge rock and they didn't want to sell it. So unless it moves I'm still looking!
