Rose bubble tip anenome question

My rose bubble anenome doesn't really have its bubble tips anymore. It did when I first got it and it ran around the tank for awhile and has finally decided to stay here. Ive had it for about 2 months now and its been like this for awhile. Is this normal?

Is his mouth closed? It is a great indicator of health.

BTAs may or may not bubble up, its a mystery as to why they do or don't bubble to date so there is no need to be alarmed :)

Mine did the same thing. Bubbles when I first got it and now it doesn't. Seems to like the tank though and the clownfish loves him.

Perfectly normal. I currently have four or five RBTA (all splits from one) in one rock area and some have bubble tips, some don't.

Yep its mouth is closed and it eats mussel, shrimp, or some other food every week. My clowns won't host it they never really even go by it but Id like them to. I am upgrading to a 72 gallon tank in may and if they don't host it by then I think I am going to put them in a small bucket together for awhile to try to get them to like it

Don't confine the clowns w/ the nem in a bucket, if they haven't developed immunity to sting cells it could kill them.
Many BTA's do not bubble, I actually prefer the look of them that way.

Mine usually split around the 8inch mark. Or I'd end up propagating them. They will bubble, not bubble, half bubble, do weird crap nobody reeally understands it. Here's an old picture of an old tank with 3 or 4 BTA's cloned from one. You can see some are bubbled some aren't and some are half bubbled half long tentacle.

Is there any way to get my clowns to host this?

it's a waiting thing, because a BTA is not their natural host anemone it can take from hours to never for them to go inside. but don't confine them into a small area so that they have to go into the anemone. that would be like me putting you into a bathtub with jellyfish to see if you will get used to them.
