Rose bubble tip keeps splitting

Hi guys!

About 9 months ago I bought a large rose bubble tip from my local LFS. Since I bought it the sucker split twice, so now I have 3!! I am ok with this however I am a little worried, I have a 55gal tank with a 29gal sump, how many can survive in my tank? Are they at risk right now? Any advice would be great.

Thanks guys,
MD

I have 6 BTA's in my tank with no problem except that I keep a close eye on parameters. The four largest (three different colors) all touch each other and take up half of the tank. I am upsizing but that's another story. The biggest worry i would have is if you have corals everywhere.

I have about 20 now in a 90 gal. All from splits. I sell some off every now and then. Not sure what your asking "are they at risk". As long as your water quality is good, I don't see a problem. Unless their stinging your corals, then you might have to move them or get rid of them...

I have 6 in a 12g aquapod... biggest concern I have for ya is when they split sometimes one walks..if ya have an open powerhead and one walks in, it makes a big mess
