Rotifer where can I buy them?

I'll ask a stupid question - laugh at me if you want :) You DO know that you have to feed them and keep them alive, right?

What do you use to feed?

In many cases people grow their own phytoplankton cultures. It is not hard, but there is a certain rhythm to it - the cultures tend to grow, peak, and crash, so you always have to have some cultures that are young, some that are almost ready to harvest, etc. You also have to be careful that you don't contaminate your phytoplankton cultures with rotifers; it is easier to do than you would think if you aren't careful about not crossing airlines.

When my wife first met me, she thought I was growing Mountain Dew because I had a rack of phytoplankton (in 2 liter soft drink bottles) in a south-facing window. It certainly LOOKED like Mountain Dew :)
