Rotigrow Plus or RG Complete: What's better?

The are the exact same product in terms of the algal blend.

The difference is, if you are not doing a lot of culturing, the high density and short shelf life of RG+ is not for you (its truly an aquaculture product, not a hobbyist product. It also lacks the pH buffer and Cloram-X so you'll have to add those on your own.

RGcomplete is designed specifically for hobbyist breeders.
 
I personally have only used RG Complete and have had great success using it to feed my small scale rotifer culture. Like Gresham pointed out, I like that it already has the choram-x and ph buffer added into it. It would be VERY expensive to use this if you had a large operation going with high rotifer demand (which i do not).

You'd think that, but our largest volume purchasers of RGcomplete are actually some of the largest MO hatcheries around :D You need to account for labor which is the most costly aspect of such an operation. Hobbyists just don't give themselves enough $$$ an hour :lol:
