I was at Pets Fun (I think that's the name) in Naperville at 59/95 on Sunday and they're having this contest. If your kid is one of the first 12 to swallow a live goldfish, they (really us ) get a free nano tank. The tanks are nothing special, but hey, it's a free tank. Unfortunately, my girlfriends daughter bolted out the door when I was hunting her down. :lol:

Not that I'm going to scream "oh the humanity!!!" about goldfish, but I wouldn't think this would be very well looked upon.

As funny as I think it is, I would think they would be concerned with some kind of liability issues. They did qualify the fish by using "feeder" fish, so they're going to be eaten anyway...I guess. It looks like it's only teeneagers working there, which I think explains everything.

Don't worry about the applicator.

I have a 12 yr old son that will do just about anything for $20 . I am sure he would have NO problem swallowing a fish , he has done worse things just for the fun of it . not so sure I would want him to though . not only is it mean , but I would worry about how healthy the feeder fish is .

Hrmm... I haven't stopped in there for a while now. I can't believe they green lighted such a crazy idea.

Avoid this store it is so dirty everything they sell there will die. I bought several salt fish from them and they all died and when i went back in there fish were all sick and marked down to 50% to get rid of them. AVOID AVOID AVOID. The owner with the red haid knows nothing about fish and i think is a little crazy. They wont last much longer.

I ate some gold fish years ago, made $50 on the bet, and was sick for a couple days. You can feel them swining in your gut, wierd.
