They can't be that rare, I have 2 of them and used to have 3. I have seen them online at a few sites. They might be seasonal.

Not rare, mildly uncommon but often available.

I picked up my last one from Mike at NYAquatics and he is doing great.

But this guy I got from DD and was absolutely a stud. He got caught between my screen top and the cover on my overflow. Helpless feeling.

My LFs get them in almost everytime he gets in flashers. You have to know what to look for because their labeled as misc fairy's & always mixed in with other flashers/fairy's. By purchasing them as misc. the LFS gets them for really cheap & sells them for $16-$18.

I've been seeing them more often in my LFS lately. I guess it's really seasonal as was mentioned!

They are collected in the Philippines and Northern Indonesia. Their seasons are opposite ours.
