royal gramma question

My tank has been set up for about 6 months now. Its a 75gallon with a 30 gallon sump. I have a couple small zoas and some tree coral along with 2 clowns, a yellow watchman goby, a pistol shrimp, and an emerald crab. My question is that I want to add a royal gramma but I've heard they are not a good fish to put in if I plan on adding others. I only plan to add 2-3 more fish, maybe a tang and an angel. What are your thoughts on adding the gramma?

The royal gramma basslet would do well with your current fish stock IMO. They kinda have an "attitude" if a fish ventures near their cave, but are generally peaceful.

So they just chase things away from their territory. They don't go on the prowl to kill things hahah. I have read they are good starter fish but I have also read that if it is one of the first fish introduced it will be aggressive. I'm gona grab one in the next month or so :)

I agree with the other posters. Hopefully "starter fish" does not mean fish used to cycle the tank.

if u are going to add a tang and a angel then it will be fine to add him now cause he wont pick on fish that size and he probably wont pick on the fish u have now because they already established there territory and plus royal grammas are not that aggressive to begin with... i would get one

I would like to add a royal gramma to my 29 gallon biocube but I have heard conflicting info about how aggressive they are. I currently have a firefish goby, a wheelers goby and a skunk cleaner shrimp. I put a peppermint shrimp in but I think the cleaner ate him because I haven't seen him since I put him in. I would like to add the royal gramma and a black clown goby and a yellow clown goby and a barnacle blenny. What do you think about this stock list?
