Royal grammar, white dots when I put him in freshwater

Hello last week I purchased a royal gramma.

From the get go he seemed odd, barely eating and swimming but there were no spots and the rest of him seems fine.

Then a few days ago I noticed him knocking into the sand and finally today I noticed my peppermint shrimp eating his tail.

I immediately took him out and put him in fresh rodi water and I noticed all these spots fall (see picture).

He is now in a last minute quarantine tank I put together with DT water, aquaclear filter and the activated carbon (the problem is the sponge was not seeded.

2 questions.

1) does the grammar stand a chance and what disease is it for me to treat?

2) my DT, what can I do to ensure whatever it was is no longer in the DT, in there I have the following;

Banggai cardinal
Peppermint shrimp
Fireshrimp
Trochus snail
Nassarius snail
Cerith snail
Nerith snail
Electric blue hermit crab
Chaeto in sump

Please help

Did these spots fall off him? It's hard to tell by the pic but I'm leaning towards flukes. It appears he had/has a bad case of them followed up by a bacterial infection which is common with flukes. Prazipro will help him immensely. You can also dose the main tank with it. Be sure to turn off your skimmer and remove any carbon.

I've never used it in a main tank but a lot of people have with great success. I've read some corals might be ticked off but they recover after a day or two. You could do a search to read other reefer's experience.
However, since this fish has a bacterial infection you may want to move him to a QT and treat with antibiotics.

Thanks. The grammar died last night :( I'll treat the DT, one of my banggai hasn't been eating. I hope the fluke treatment will resolve this once and for all
