Running 6055 on Aquasurf

Does running a 6055 to generate resonance waves with the aquasurf so that they are going from 30% to 100% in less than a second significantly reduce the life of the pump motor? This has been a lingering concern for me because I really like keeping mine in resonance mode, but I don't want to have them break down in a year.

I think it should be fine but it is not possible to say for sure as it has not been tested. The manual specifically excludes damage caused by non Tunze controllers so the official stance is not to use this controller but I doubt it is a real issue.
