Roger,
I am looking into getting a UPS battery backup as hurricane season approaches. I want to run a Tunze Nano 6045 on the UPS, nothing else, just to provide emergency flow until the weather settles enough to get out the generator. I think with the low power draw of the nano, I should get many hours of run time from a decent sized UPS (~400-500W). From what I've read, people recommend using a UPS that generates a true sine wave output to run pumps. Does the Tunze Nano require a true sine wave or will it work just fine on a modified sine wave?
Thanks
