Running Protein Skimmer and filter

I decided to buy two Tunze 9002 nano skimmers for my 20g LR cultivation tanks. I have two 10-20g Aqua-Tech power filters in each. It's only been about one week so far. I forgot but do I take out the Aqua filters now or can I run them both? I already have some LR going through the cycling process.

Sorry I don't have recent pictures of the skimmers.

If its only LR that you have in the bins, I don't see why you couldn't remove the filters and just use the skimmers. You'll probably even pull more stuff out with the skimmers then you were with the filters.

Just LR. It's illegal to have live coral in Hawaii.

If you want to run the hob filters, I would take out the filter pads. It will get clogged up and hold alot of debri.
