Rust colored Algae

Hi guys I'm new to the salt water world my tank has finished cycling 40gal breeder
Hob filter led light I added a small clown and 2 candy shrimp about a week ago and now I'm starting to get a rust colored algae on the rocks and sand 0 ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrites is this normal

You should get a CUC in the tank anyways, some snails, hermits, etc... Im not sure if anything actually eats the diatoms or not, but the CUC is essential to the tank health.
 
You could add some more flow in the tank with power heads too pointed near sand/rocks. Maybe lower time lights are on a bit, get some cuc...Not too much at once. Hermits, snails.. But is normal process. You didn't say if you are running ro/di, phosphates are not good in SW. And is the glass dirty because of kids? Lol...I think I see small finger print smears.
 
Not running ro/di running sea water until my system comes in lights are on 8hrs then the night light comes on. Glass is hard to keep clean My nephews love the clown fish lol

Normal..
Give it time..
A tank is usually still "maturing" for at least 6 months after being setup..
