Rusting

I've been noticing my mounting equipment for my lights are starting to rust and fear they give way one day... I'll be swapping them out soon, but I was wondering how do you guys prevent your stuff from rusting?

It is a natural event around saltwater. I try to use stainless or at least coated screws, but that is also part of regular maintenance. Just like what Rob said about the DJ panels. They are only good for so long and they they quit. I will not trust mine for longer than a year.
