happyface888,
The hardy Rusty Angelfish usually does well in a home aquarium of at least 30 gallons. It is semi-aggressive and is compatible with most other saltwater fish though should not be placed into an aquarium containing Anglers, Eels, Groupers, Lions, or Triggers. Caution should be used when housing more than one species of Pygmy Angelfish, as they will be aggressive towards their own species. Although the Rusty Angelfish can be kept in a reef tank, monitor it carefully to make sure it is not damaging stony and soft corals and clam mantles. The Rusty Angelfish is usually not too picky about what it will eat. Its diet should include Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis shrimp, and other meaty items.
In the wild the Rusty Angelfish lives in harems consisting of one male and one to six females. The largest females in the groups often behave aggressively toward one another therefore, this would not be recommended in the home aquarium.
